What is this?
My friends and I started Makeup Monday on my birthday in 2020. We were doing makeup on video together, and enjoyed it so much, it became a weekly thing.
We plan to use the structure of consistent meetings with different themes, group challenges, and time with friends to find a happy place and enjoy life.

I find, after having fun, I’m a lot more inspired to do more things, so this was an experiment to see if having fun with friends mobilizes me to have more fun. Although we do makeup weekly, we also share our other cosplay goals and progress - big or small or nonexistent. Although a lot of cosplay crafting is somewhat tedious, I really like it, and usually want to do it. Sharing my goals with others also really helps. I work best with deadlines - maybe you do too!

We currently are meeting every two weeks, on Discord. Contact me for a link, where we post the themes and challenges. You can decide to take part, or do your own thing. You can post them under #makeupmondaywithjessica so that we can find them and congratulate you on your awesome work.
